The silver elevator doors opened with a gentle chime, and Inaya Sharma stepped into the world that would soon become her prison… and her pleasure.
A nervous flutter sat in her stomach, but her eyes sparkled with excitement.
First day of internship at Malhotra Empire.
She smoothed down her white shirt and took a shaky breath as she walked through the polished marble lobby. She was just an intern. Another face in the crowd. That’s what she believed.
Until his eyes found her.
From the top floor of the skyscraper, Raunak Vikrant Malhotra, CEO and the silent terror of the business world, watched the security screen. He never cared for interns.
But today…
His gaze paused.
Her.
A girl in a simple white shirt and high-waisted jeans. Big eyes. Pink lips. Sweet. Innocent.
Breakable.
And he loved breaking things.

Meanwhile…
"Excuse me?” Inaya smiled at the receptionist. “I'm Inaya Sharma. Today’s my first—”
“Mr. Malhotra wants to see you,” the woman cut in quickly, sounding confused herself.
“What? Me?” Inaya blinked. “But I—”
“Private elevator. Top floor.”
Her fingers curled around her ID badge. Why would he want to see her?
Still, she stepped in.
As the elevator rose, so did her heartbeat.

The Top Floor – 9:08 AM
Raunak stood near the glass wall, back turned. His black suit hugged his tall, muscular frame. Sharp lines. Dangerous aura. His presence filled the room.
When she entered, he slowly turned.
Inaya’s breath hitched.
His eyes burned into hers—dark, unreadable, but intense enough to make her shift uncomfortably.
“Miss Sharma.”
His voice was low and smooth. Seductive without trying. “You were placed in accounts. But I’m taking you.”
She blinked. “Sorry?”
“To work under me. Directly.”
“But I’m just an intern…”
He walked towards her. Every step was heavy. Controlled.
“I don’t care.”
And just like that, her fate changed.

🔥 Later That Day…
“Come here,” he ordered.
She turned from the desk, biting her lip nervously. “Yes, sir?”
He leaned back in his chair, sleeves rolled up, forearms flexing as he lazily looked at her.
"Come closer."
She stepped forward.
He reached out suddenly—grabbing her wrist.
“Do you always follow orders this obediently, Inaya?”
His fingers brushed the inside of her wrist—slow, deliberate.
She tried to step back. He didn’t let go.
His eyes dropped to her lips.
"You look nervous," he murmured. "Do I scare you?"
She didn’t reply.
His hand moved… grazing her waist… slow.
Her body tensed.
She hated how her eyes dropped to his chest—where the top button of his shirt was open. Her gaze followed the lines of his neck… down to the shadows of his abs under the thin fabric.
> God, why did he have to be built like a sin?
"Eyes up," he whispered, smirking as if he read her thoughts.
She turned away, cheeks on fire. But her body… it betrayed her.
-
That night, he drafted a contract.
She would now be his personal assistant.
And he’d be her boss…
Her obsession…
Her slow destruction.
